EPG‘s main expertise is focused
on the three following industrial sectors:
Automotive
parts with special focus to metal components exposed to rough conditions like
high temperatures, corrosion and mechanic impacts.
Household
appliances and cookware, for example kitchen equipment especially to protect
stainless steel from scratching and fingerprints; cookware with special focus
to functional and decorative high-performance and anti-adhesive coatings on
the mobile phones, on ultramodern metal sandwich structures (with aluminum
cores for excellent heat dissipation in cookware), a completely worldwide
unique technology.
Electronic
and electric components with special focus on high-performance casings like
camera, cell phone or laptop casings.
However, due to the basic technology character of the coating
systems, they are applicable to almost any other product or component surface.
In addition to this, EPG has developed new basic technologies for improving
exploration and production in the oil and gas field.

Thin Films
(Nanoseal® technology, transparent and colored, high gloss as well as
matte) are combining high mechanical strength with many interesting properties
such as high temperature resistant (up to 600°C), transparent up to “invisible”,
e.g. very attractive on stainless steel surfaces because it does not change
their appearance, dishwasher proof, anti sticking, food contact approved,
highly decorative such as metallic look (e.g. Pantone® colors), anti tarnishing;
applicable on steel, aluminum, magnesium, brass, zinc and other metals.
Inorganic-Organic
Nanocomposite Coatings
(Nanohype® technology) are combining low-temperature processing routes
with many interesting (and tailorable) customized properties such as transparent
and colored abrasion-resistant coatings on plastic, textile or leather, and
additional third functions on request like anti microbial, easy to clean,
anti-fingerprint, photo catalytic or self-cleaning properties. High performance
corrosion resistance is achieved on mild steel, aluminum and magnesium as
well as alloys. The coating systems are available in any color on demand..
Inorganic-organic
nano composite and inorganic systems for application in oil and gas
production technologies, for example sand, water and wettability management.
