EPG: Worldwide leading know-how
EPG uses worldwide leading know-how in developing nanoproducts for its customers. The technological foundation and the intellectual property (IP) of EPG are based on EPGs own developments as well as numerous licences acquired, among others, from the Saarbrücken Institute for New Materials. Here, the leading brains of the enterprise, headed by Prof. Helmut Schmidt, Dr. Martin Mennig and Dr. Klaus Endres, have been pushing ahead development and marketing of innovations in the area of chemical nanotechnology for many years and protected them in more than 100 basic patents.
For manufacturing customized products, apart from the outstanding know-how developed so far and the capacities of the development department located in Lorraine, an additional international network of research and development partners is available to take on development services for projects; project design and project management remain at EPG. This network includes renowned research facilities in Germany, in the rest of Europe and in Asia. Thus, EPG is in a position to develop sophisticated and customer-specific products with high effectiveness in a versatile manner and in various business sectors.
For subsequent quality-assured series production, EPG offers an efficient organizational structure which is used for developing the relevant manufacturing technology and applying it in the newly established production plant.
